The Trinity Building
The Trinity Building
Gateway Studio is based in the Trinity Building on Gateshead High Street and the building is owned and maintained by Gateway Studio, made possible due to the financial support of our donors, supporters and volunteers.
We have various meeting spaces and rehearsal areas available to book. These rooms are suitable for individuals to larger groups of any genre! They can also be used by professionals or community groups.
Our rates are £30 per hour for individuals and professional groups.
We offer a special rate of £15 per hour for charities or community groups.
We believe in working together to help create positive social change and look to collaborate with other community organisations who we partner with by providing space for them in the building, such as:
North East Counselling Service (NECS)
Gateway Studio Project partner with the North East Counselling Service (NECS) who help to support individuals struggling with a variety of issues such as dealing with bereavement, relationships and other struggles.
NECS aim to provide a therapy session within two weeks of the individual booking and have access to over 50 counsellors. They help to provide support to anyone from age 4+ to the elderly.
FREE Counselling is available for the following groups in Gateshead: children and young people aged 9-25, Carers and War Veterans.
Counselling gives individuals the opportunity to discuss their difficulties in a safe and non-judgemental environment.
US Active Children’s Charity
Gateway Studio Project partner with US Active Children’s Charity, whose ethos is to empower young people through activity. They help to support young people aged between 12 and 25 who are at risk of developing their mental health difficulties, helping them to become physically active and transform their lives.
The offer which US Active Children’s Charity provides is demand-led responding to the needs and interests of young people. Gateway Studio Project holds dance sessions for youth seeking help from this charity.
